I'm glad you had a good time. Now I just need your BM to send me the results and I can tally the kills/salvages, mission winners, control of planets changes, etc....

I filled out the battle reports, but i am not sure if the BM knows what to do with them. I think he plans on scanning them or faxing them to you, not sure. And i still plan on coming to the challenge should be lots of fun.

I got the scans of the sheets. So I'll figure out what needs to be done from there.
Tri-Region: Kev and I are planning on leaving here Thursday after my work (March 15) and shooting up to Little Rock. You guys want to meet us here Thursday afternoon (6ish) and caravan up to Little Rock?

I just want to say that our event went real well and I did like the missions that I had to do. I know that there was some minor typos but for the most part a cool event. Cant wait to run my next set of missions.

I know that we got the events up a bit late. The next set of events should be up wayyyy before the end of the month.
Radicalsingularity will continue helping me create the events, but I'll take a closer look at what his events are next time (sorry for the confusions).
If anyone has a specific goal in mind just email us at karlpajak@yahoo.com with the title something like "My Goal" or "I'd like to" with "My next misson" in there somewhere.
I'm still updating the website, prefecture 8 is up now.
I'm glad everyone is having a great time.

Reply Tri region: Sounds good for the trip. have the time off but not sure who else will be coming. May be running solo. The only other details i need are where are you guys staying. do i need to make reservations?

go to www.geocities.com/karlpajak/TriRegionChallenge07 and the address for the gamestore is listed there. I'll look and see what hotels are around there and make the reservations tonight. I'm full up at my room but we could stay at the same hotel. I've got Southpaw13 rooming with us, and Kevin. So we could find a place close by. Ahmed said that he was most likely going to come so that'll be a heck of a caravan. I don't know if he's going to come up on Thursday or leave Friday but it should be great! Looks like the CBT stuff isn't going to happen, since I was told I was a commando but that hasn't been approved and now, in my opinion, it's too late to a) Get con support from Fan Pro b) Get the event listed as a convention...so I think I'm going to cancell the CBT events. Oh well. Irregardless... it'll still be a blast. |

Was finally able to complete February's mission. It had to be ran off the cuff for the most part. Karl you can call me and we can discuss the details if you wish.
I would recommend that the missions be geared towards the factions that participate at the Venues. For instance, at my Venue; these are the participating factions: Clan Jade Falcon, Clan Nova Cat, House Davion, Republic of The Sphere. If a challenge is issued to a faction that is not at a Venue, then the battle can be fought as we have already discussed. I am wanting to add another player at my Venue. He is a Clan Wolf player. Let me know what needs to happen to get this player on board.

The concept for the missions is that your army is attempting to obtain an objective. That objective may not include any of the factions at the venue.
That's why we have the mission roll off at the beginning of the round.
The players face off. They both roll 3d6. The person that scores the highest is both: player one and the mission controller. The 2nd player's army will be representing the army of the mission. It's a proxy. Maybe not the best but it's what we have.
If you need to think of it like a storyline event where Liao and Bannson are facing off...you don't bring Liao or Bannson to the table but you play for them...representing their army.
Then, at the end of the event, the winner chooses a side that won and that faction is recorded as the winner of the event.
